How to model correctly the lobby door in a big entry space?

Dear developers and users,

How to model correctly the lobby door in a big entry space which has a height of 2 floors?

In the attached image you can see the lobby door has also a big height (the best way i found actually), how to model only the half-below body?

By the way, is it possible to model a interior window / window partition?

Thanks in advance

Why should you only calculate half the door height? If it is an open room and the lobby door goes from floor to ceiling, you can build the room exactly like that.
Yes, you can do this if you use a raytracing material for the window and perform a raytracing calculation.

Thank you very much! It's great!

Well for my modelling case, because my lobby door is only high until the half height of the entry room. So I look for how to model it exactly, now you gave me the answer. Thanks again.
